AIMP

AIMP is a multifunctional audio center that allows you to easily convert music from one format to another, record audio from a microphone or other sound device, edit MP3, OGG, and WMA tags, and batch rename or organize music files. The program was developed based on user feedback from other media players, so it incorporates the best features and even more. It supports the following audio formats: WAV, OGG, WMA, CDA, MP3, MP2, MP1, MTM, MOD, XM, IT, AIF, UMX, S3M, MO3, and others. The list of supported formats can be expanded with additional plugins. The player features an 18-band equalizer that allows you to adjust sound quality to your preference. It also includes standard presets for certain music types, ported from Winamp. In addition to the equalizer, there are four special effects: Chorus, Echo, Flanger, and Reverb, each with customizable settings that are saved when the program closes. Additional AIMP features include an Audio Converter to convert music into popular formats like WMA, MP3, WAV, and OGG, an Audio Grabber to rip Audio CDs into MP3, OGG, WAV, or WMA, and a Sound Recorder to record from any audio device in the system. The built-in Tag Editor allows editing of ID3v1, ID3v2, OGG, and WMA tags. Batch File Renaming lets you organize a large music collection in minutes according to selected templates. The program also supports scheduled computer shutdown, customizable global and local hotkeys, and plugin support to extend functionality. Additionally, AIMP can record streaming audio in real time, such as internet radio broadcasts. What’s new in AIMP 5.40.2690: updated BASS libraries, updated localizations, compatibility with Wine 10, fixes to the BASS audio engine for incomplete playback of certain MOD files, fixes to the VST engine for low FPS in visualizations and memory corruption during specific conversions, fixed track repeat handling during continuous seek, fixed audio clicks at track end when fade-out is enabled, fixed internet radio URL-encoded metadata not being unpacked, resolved various reported bugs, and fixed multiple playlist export from memory.
